There are logical errors in most, if not all, of the chapters in the book! DO NOT read this book unless you are looking for examples of silliness cloaked in obtuse language.
Her Chap. 9: “Paradoxes: When Logic Causes Contradictions” is an exercise in getting things totally backward! A fundamental Law of logic is the “Law of Noncontradiction” which as any logician knows cannot be violated, and she immediately violates ti, and dismisses it, with the sub-chapter heading: “When Logic Causes Contradictions”. Logic cannot, does not, and never will cause contradictions! All “apparent” paradoxes are due to a failure to comprehend, and understand, the problem presented. When faulty logic is presented as seemingly valid logic, then we may get an “apparent contradiction” and an “apparent paradox”, but true paradoxes do not exist!
She refers to Kurt Godel’s Incompleteness Theorem over and over, but she mistakenly says that Godel’s Theorem is, itself, a paradox or that it proves that paradoxes can exist, This is total nonsense!
She demonstrates time, and time again, that she does not really understand sound logic, paradoxes, or the concept of infinity! I cannot decide if she really does not understand, or if she is just trying to sell a “trade book” to the gullible and uninformed. I cannot recommend this book to any serious reader.
